Lloyd Kortbeek,
P.Eng., CIP, CFEI
Lloyd Kortbeek is the president and founder of E2I2 Consulting Inc. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Alberta with over 25 years of experience. He is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) with the Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC) and holds a current certification with the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator. Lloyd is qualified as an expert witness in Alberta.
Lloyd has practical field experience having worked as a maintenance engineer in the Canadian oil sands. He has extensive investigation and claim support experience with fixed and mobile mining, oil exploration, production, processing/upgrading, and petrochemical equipment. He has worked as an adjuster as well as an engineering consultant on small through large energy and specialty claims. Lloyd has worked on losses valued in excess of CAD $1.2 billion, as well as captive, mutual, subscription and multi layered policy losses. His range of clients includes insurers, industry and counsel on industrial and specialized property and machinery physical damage losses.

Guy Taylor
P.Eng.
Guy Taylor is a Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience in insurance claims, failure investigation, risk mitigation, operations, project management and engineering design. His experience spans the energy, chemical and industrial sectors. Guy is currently focused on supporting clients through the application of technical failure analysis, assessment and claim preparation and management.
Guy's technical experience covers vessels, piping, rotating equipment, including compressors and turbines, and all associated equipment and instrumentation. His extensive background in claims includes property, business interruption, boiler and machinery, delay in start-up and Course of Construction/Construction All Risks, involving losses in value up to USD $300 million.

John Towler
P.Eng., CFEI
John Towler is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of diverse experience in the Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Electrical Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Construction industries. He has led small and large multi-disciplined teams, in small companies and large corporations, in the development and manufacturing of innovative products. He has also managed many small and multi-million dollar projects in the Oil and Gas and Power Generation sectors, and is established as a consultant in the fields of Project Management and Forensic Engineering.
He joined Sintra Engineering in 2009 as a Senior Forensic Engineer where he investigated many small and large commercial and industrial mechanical losses and fires for insurance industry and legal clients. Since 2011, John has operated as an independent consultant, specializing in industrial gas and steam turbines, compressors and generators.
